Our Origin Story
Bushbury Spark was founded on the principles of unity and empowerment. It all began with a group of passionate individuals coming together to create positive change in the community.
Our humble beginnings have shaped us into the dedicated and resilient movement we are today.

At Bushbury Spark, we are committed to fostering a sense of belonging and connection among the residents of Bushbury. Our values of inclusivity, respect, and collaboration drive everything we do, from organising community events to providing volunteer opportunities.

We went on to revitalise and transform a struggling resource centre into a thriving hub of activity.
Through sheer determination and innovation, we turned an underused space into a welcoming environment, increasing footfall from just 20 visitors per week to over 140. Sadly we were unable to stay there due to a difference in direction with the management of the building.
Since our departure from the centre, we have returned temporarily to our roots at the rear of the bungalows, we have continued support from our members and the local community and the future is looking bright.
